Parmiter's School is seeking an Attendance Officer to maintain accurate attendance records for Years 7–11 and support the Pastoral Support Base. You will work with staff, students and parents to monitor attendance and ensure compliance with legislation.

The role requires strong organisational, IT and communication skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure. A CPD‑driven approach and safeguarding awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and good eye for detail.
• Excellent IT, communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Experience in a similar role or in an education setting is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate attendance records for years 7–11 as stipulated by legislation.
• Work with staff, students and parents/carers to monitor attendance.
• Support the Pastoral Support Base and liaise with Student Support Officer.
• Ensure compliance with attendance legislation and safeguarding policies.
