Job summary

Kingswode Hoe School in Colchester is seeking a flexible and motivated School Administrator & Clerical Support to join our admin and finance team. This part-time role supports daily operations, greets visitors, handles routine communications and contributes to safeguarding and GDPR compliance.

The school offers training, mentoring and a supportive, pupil-centred environment within a strong Trust framework, with opportunities to develop skills and make a positive impact from day one.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have English and Maths qualification, at least GCSE grade C, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Finance Administration and safeguarding processes is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with First Aid and EHCP processes is an advantage.
  • Confident, flexible and able to work in a team within a school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration and clerical support to the admin and finance team.
  • Greet parents, carers and visitors and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with GDPR/compliance and safeguarding documentation and processes.

Information about the School

Kingswode Hoe is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. We take pupils aged between 5 and 16 (Y1 - Y11) living in the Colchester area. All pupils are admitted to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority based at Essex House in Colchester. We are currently funded for 151 places.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
