Job summary

Old Leake Primary Academy in Fosdyke is seeking a proactive School Administrator to be the friendly front of house, manage calls, emails and parent communications, and support daily office operations.

You will use Microsoft 365, handle GDPR/data protection, supervise admin staff and assist with pupil welfare by providing First Aid where trained. Grade 4 in Maths and English is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Grade 4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Experience in a school setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Manage school communications via email, phone, digital platforms and social media.
  • Support the use of Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems for documents and collaboration.
  • Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the school office and supervise admin staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Provide First Aid support where trained and assist with pupil welfare.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold the academy's values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, visitors and external agencies, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service.
  • Manage school communications through email, telephone, digital platforms, parent communication systems and social media channels.
  • Support the effective use of Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems for document management, collaboration and information sharing.
  • Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the school office, including the supervision and development of administrative support staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection requirements and Trust policies.
  • Provide First Aid support, where trained, and assist with pupil welfare needs throughout the school day.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and support the academy's vision, values and commitment to excellent customer service.
Essential Criteria:
  • Applicants are required to hold Grade 4 or equivalent in Maths and English

  • Previous experience of working within a school environment
