Job summary

Harborne Primary School in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic Attendance Officer to join our Administration team and support attendance management across two sites.

You will investigate absences, produce reports for senior colleagues, liaise with external agencies, and handle day-to-day front office tasks such as answering phones and greeting parents and visitors. DBS checks required; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Attendance management experience preferred.
• Ability to liaise with external agencies and senior staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

About the role

As the Attendance Officer you will supports the daily operation of school attendance and front office. The role will involve investigating absences and lateness, producing reports for senior colleagues and liaising with external agencies regarding attendance interventions. The role also involves the day to day support of a school office, eg answer phones, greeting parents/ visitors.
