Sage, a global academic publisher, seeks a Peer Review Systems Assistant to support internal teams and authors via the ScholarOne platform. You will help roll out manuscripts systems, handle queries from authors and editors, and contribute to high-quality peer-review service.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration within a hybrid work environment. Prior experience with ticketing and IT systems is beneficial.

Formación

• Customer service experience preferred, ideally in a ticketing environment.
• Interest in academic publishing and industry challenges.
• Ability to digest large amounts of information and provide clear solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communicator, capable of managing internal and external relationships.
• Comfortable with IT systems, databases, and Microsoft collaboration tools.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Peer-Review Systems Manager with roll-out of ScholarOne Manuscripts and other online peer review platforms for journals.
• Support Journals Editorial and Journals Production with queries about online peer review systems.
• Respond to submissions-system queries from authors and stakeholders via the ticketing system.
• Monitor turnaround times, peer review standards, and survey results; report as required.
• Provide help and guidance to users of the ScholarOne platform.
• Attend meetings with editors to demo and advise on use of the online platform; participate in training.
