Job summary

Codi is seeking a Scheme Support Officer for Ty Trosiad in Newport. This full-time, permanent role includes sleep-in shifts with a payment of £62.64 per sleep-in and lone-working duties. You’ll be the point of contact for residents, ensuring health and safety, and supporting tenancy management and wellbeing.

The role emphasizes compassionate support for people with complex needs, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle challenging situations with clear communication.

Responsibilities

Summary

A full-time, permanent, Scheme Support Officer in a supported housing service, Ty Trosiad, Newport. You will be required to work on a rolling rota which includes days, evenings, weekend availability and sleep-in shifts (additional £62.64 sleep-in payment), this role also involves lone working.

Overview

Ty Trosiad is a 10 bed supported housing service for people with long term, complex needs and here we support people with mental health issues, substance misuse and a history of not coping with managing their own tenancy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a rewarding role where you would be responsible for ensuring the health & safety of the building, monitoring people coming to and leaving the scheme, and being the point of contact for our clients, whether they need advice, support, or somebody to talk to.

Day To Day Duties

Part of your role includes sleep-in shifts at the scheme, you will be provided with a secluded area that includes a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen facilities.
