Codi Group in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a full-time Scheme Support Officer for our 10-bed Supported Accommodation Service, Garth Villas. You will support individuals who are homeless on a rolling rota including days, evenings, nights and bank holidays.
Working alongside Project Workers, you will help residents facing alcohol/substance misuse and mental health issues to engage in support and gain independence toward tenancy. We are a not-for-profit with a community-driven mission.

This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our 10-bed Supported Accommodation Service, Garth Villas, Merthyr Tydfil. Alongside the Service Manager we have a team of Project Workers & Scheme Support Officers, with the service being crucial within the community to tackle homelessness.
Working alongside the Project Workers, you will provide support to individuals who are homeless with a range of different behaviours & personalities. The customers may be facing various needs such as – Alcohol/substance misuse, mental health, anti-social behaviour and offending. The service gives customers an opportunity to engage in support, and gain independence in preparation to manage & sustain a future tenancy.
Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
