Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Merthyr Tydfil is recruiting a full-time Scheme Support Officer for our 10-bed Supported Accommodation Service, Garth Villas. You will work with the Service Manager and a team to support residents and help them engage with services and move towards independent tenancy.

The role involves supporting individuals facing challenges such as substance misuse, mental health issues and behaviours, helping them access the right support and prepare for sustaining a future

One full-time Scheme Support Officer in a Supported Accommodation Scheme in Merthyr Tydfil.

About the role

This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our 10-bed Supported Accommodation Service, Garth Villas, Merthyr Tydfil. Alongside the Service Manager we have a team of Project Workers & Scheme Support Officers, with the service being crucial within the community to tackle homelessness.

Working alongside the Project Workers, you will provide support to individuals who are homeless with a range of different behaviours & personalities. The customers may be facing various needs such as – Alcohol/substance misuse, mental health, anti-social behaviour and offending. The service gives customers an opportunity to engage in support, and gain independence in preparation to manage & sustain a future tenancy.
