Job summary

Select Lifestyles Limited seeks a Scheme Manager to lead a supported living or residential service for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensure person-centred care, and drive compliance with Care Act 2014 and CQC standards.

You will manage staff, rotas and on-call duties, promote safeguarding and continuous improvement, and collaborate with families and professionals to secure positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Level 5 Leadership qualification is preferred.
• Experience leading care teams and coordinating services within supported living or residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a supported living or residential service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care aligned with Care Act 2014 and CQC standards.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management across the scheme.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff; foster empathy, respect, and professional development.
• Manage rotas, on-call duties, and staffing to ensure safe service delivery.
• Drive quality assurance through audits, performance monitoring and improvement plans.
• Liaise with families, professionals and external agencies to support outcomes.
