Job summary

Voyage Care in Rotherham is seeking a Scheme Leader to join our supported living services. You will support the Manager with daily supervision, allocate shifts, train new colleagues and help develop care plans to improve the lives of the people we support.

The role requires a Level 3 in Health & Social Care and experience delivering support to individuals with autism, brain injury, mental health needs or challenging behaviours, while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Scheme Leader role is required.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience working with autism, acquired brain injury, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and service management.
• Allocate shifts and oversee staff induction and training.
• Develop and update care plans; order medication when needed.
• Support people to gain independence and manage finances.

Scheme Leader - Rotherham - £13.72 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday 7am - 2pm, 2pm - 9pm, 9pm - 7am

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Scheme Leader to join us in leading our supported living service's in Rotherham. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Scheme Leader with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision’s and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Scheme Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Scheme Leader having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Scheme Leader should have previous experience in a similar role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
