Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Team Leader to drive quality and independence in our Supported Living schemes. You will lead a dynamic team, supervise day-to-day operations, and ensure care plans and training are up to date to support individuals we serve.

You will have Level 3 in Health & Social Care and proven experience in similar roles, including working with autism, brain injury, and complex needs. This role offers impactful work in a supportive environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in supported living or care settings.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.
• Strong supervisory and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and manage rosters.
• Book in training and induct new colleagues.
• Conduct supervision and appraisals.
• Develop and update care plans for individuals we support.
• Order and manage medications.
• Support the manager with day-to-day service operations, including finances of those supported.

Team Leaders with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in leading our Supported living schemes . This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Team Leader with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision’s and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Team Leader having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Team Leader should have previous experience in a similar role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
