Scheduler
Hamilton, ML3
Up to £26,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based
No two days the same. That's exactly the point.
At Compco, our engineers are out on the road every single day, servicing fire pumps and critical safety systems that businesses depend on. Behind every one of those visits is a Scheduler who made it happen: the right engineer, the right site, the right kit, at the right time.
You'll take ownership of planning and coordinating engineer workloads across your patch, building efficient routes, keeping our internal scheduler app up to date, and making sure every visit is fully equipped, from risk assessments and insurance documents to work permits and materials.
You'll join a genuinely close-knit team. Our scheduling and admin department is a tight team of 5, sitting within a wider office of 14. Many of our people have been with us for years and that says everything about the culture we've built.
We invest in you from day one. You'll get proper, structured internal training on our systems, our industry, and our way of working. We want you to feel confident, capable, and set up to grow. Many of our employees have developed careers with us through promotions and internal role changes offering progression and skills expansion.
Every day brings a genuine challenge. This isn't a role where you follow the same script on repeat. Plans change. Urgent jobs land. Routes need rethinking on the fly. You'll be the person solving it and there's real satisfaction in getting engineers where they need to be, exactly when they're needed.
You're highly organised capable of keeping multiple deadlines and moving parts in your head at once and still keep your cool. You're comfortable planning realistic job lengths and mapping efficient routes and you know how to reprioritise fast when something unexpected lands on your desk.
