Job summary

OASIS Group is recruiting a data prep and scanning assistant to support daily activity under supervision. The role involves prepping items for scanning, indexing data, and using scanning technology to digitise documents.

You will work a shift pattern 6am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–11pm, Monday to Friday, with strict adherence to BS10008:2014 quality standards and data protection regulations. OASIS is an equal opportunities employer and requires right-to-work checks.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of items for scanning and rebuilding of files post scan.
  • Inputting data in an accurate manner
  • Use of our Scanning technology which includes the physical scanner as well as support software.
  • Completing scanning log sheets in conjunction with daily work undertaken.
  • Accurately undertaking manual indexing duties in conjunction with items digitisation ensuring that documents are searchable for customers.
  • File reconciliation will be completed post digitisation
  • Assist management in ensuring that all jobs are undertaken and completed in accordance with relevant specified instructions, procedures, and client contracts/requirements.
  • Assist management in ensuring compliance of prepping & scanning operations with specific procedures and standards for quality, health, safety, housekeeping, and information/data security.
  • Working directly with the on-site client team regarding the daily work.
  • Checking daily work, Quality Assurance 100% for some jobs.
  • Use initiative to identify any improvements or efficiencies.
  • Provide support for other areas within the business as required.
  • Comply with all company policies and all relevant data protection legislation.

The Role

This position is responsible for daily activity of the prepping and scanning the client data under the supervision of the Scanning & Cataloguing Supervisor.

This role works a shift pattern from 6am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
