About the Role

As a Scanning & Artwork Processing Assistant, you'll be part of a small and dedicated team working under the guidance of the Lead Administrator. When new artwork packs arrive, you'll be responsible for carefully scanning and processing each individual piece, ensuring everything is correctly prepared and ready for print.

This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail really matters. You'll be working with children's artwork, including drawings, paintings and crayons, so you'll need to handle each piece carefully and be comfortable getting stuck in! You'll generally work independently, while also playing an important part in helping the wider team meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of work.

Your Responsibilities
  • Carefully sorting and handling children's artwork
  • Scanning individual pieces of artwork using dedicated scanning equipment
  • Processing and preparing artwork ready for print
  • Ensuring every piece of artwork is accounted for and correctly processed
  • Organising artwork packs to prevent items from being misplaced
  • Entering basic information accurately onto computer systems
  • Navigating files and folders and saving documents correctly
  • Using scanning software – full training will be provided
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure artwork has been scanned correctly
  • Meeting daily deadlines and productivity targets
  • Maintaining an organised and tidy working area
  • Working closely with the Admin Manager and Lead Administrator
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the team
What We're Looking For
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Basic computer skills and confidence navigating files and folders
  • The ability to carry out basic data entry accurately
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude
  • The ability to work accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a small, friendly team
  • Previous scanning or administrative experience is beneficial but not essential
  • A willingness to learn – full training will be provided
A Hands‑On Role With a Difference

This isn't your typical office or warehouse role. You'll be working directly with children's artwork, from colourful paintings to crayon drawings, helping transform their creations into finished printed products. The environment can be busy and demanding, but it's also friendly, rewarding and varied. If you're someone who enjoys practical work, likes keeping things organised and gets satisfaction from producing accurate results, you'll fit right in.

Why Join Us?

You'll become part of a supportive team working on exciting fundraising projects, with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in scanning, administration, artwork processing and production.

With £12.71 per hour, weekly pay and overtime available after 45 hours, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a full‑time temporary role with additional hours available.
