Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking experienced engineers to join the DATA Org. You will design and build scalable distributed data systems handling ingestion, processing and storage for real‑time visibility into customer health and performance of online properties.

You will work on high‑throughput pipelines, a ClickHouse‑powered analytical platform, and customer‑facing GraphQL APIs. Collaboration across teams and with open‑source communities is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building distributed systems and working with databases.
• Strong Go programming skills and CS fundamentals.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and high‑cardinality metrics.
• Good knowledge of SQL, database internals, design and performance.
• Ability to debug complex, large‑scale systems and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable distributed data systems across the lifecycle.
• Improve data delivery and low‑latency processing for Cloudflare scale.
• Contribute to the Analytical Platform and large‑scale DB clusters.
• Develop GraphQL APIs, log delivery and alerting components.
• Collaborate cross‑team and with ClickHouse/open‑source communities.
