Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is building the foundation of AI-powered software by providing data and platforms for leading models. We are seeking a Platform Engineer to design and develop shared data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and deployment tooling across Scale.

You will collaborate across teams, drive feature delivery in an iterative workflow, and push for scalable, reliable systems hosted on public cloud. Experience with RAG, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time engineering experience, post-graduation, with back-end focus.
• Experience with scalable distributed systems on public clouds.
• Experience building document retrieval and understanding systems (RAG).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement foundational platforms and systems for Scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features.
• Lead AI domain experimentation with the latest techniques.
• Identify opportunities to improve programming practices and tooling.
• Present technical information to teams and stakeholders.
