Job summary

IntaPeople is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager in Cardiff on a 5-month contract to March 2027. The role is hybrid with some flexibility and a daily rate of £300–£350 outside IR35. Start date 9 November 2026.

You will own end-to-end delivery of client projects, lead cross-functional teams and contribute to bids while building strong public sector relationships. You will manage budgets, forecasts and dependencies across multiple projects, balancing timelines and scope in fast-paced environments,

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering software development projects as a Delivery, Programme or Project Manager.
• Public sector delivery experience – ideally with local government, education, NHS or central government.
• Strong financial control including budgeting, forecasting and resource management.
• Experience leading technical teams in Agile and waterfall environments.
• Confidence managing senior stakeholders and juggling more than one project.
• Experience contributing to bids or SoWs.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of client projects end to end, on time, on budget, and to scope.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of developers, BAs, designers and testers.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, risks and dependencies across several projects.
• Build strong relationships with public sector clients and handle tricky conversations.
• Contribute to bids, tenders, statements of work and client pitches.
• Help improve and shape how the business delivers.
