Job summary

The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain Java applications, build and deploy in AWS, and create containerised solutions using Docker and Kubernetes within secure environments.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing applications in Java.
• Experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Active SC Clearance.
• Eligibility to undergo Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV).
• Spring Boot.
• Kubernetes.
• Microservices architecture.
• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience within Defence, Government or secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications.
• Build and deploy solutions within AWS environments.
• Develop containerised applications using Docker.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to the design of secure and scalable software architectures.
• Ensure software is developed in line with best engineering practices.
