Job summary

A fast-growing technology firm in the East Midlands is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer with a current CCNA or PCCET certification. In this role, you will implement security solutions and lead the configuration of Fortinet products while receiving full training. With a collaborative and impactful work environment, you will have the autonomy to shape technical standards. SC Clearance is required, and candidates must be UK nationals or dual nationals willing to meet residency requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security.
• Current CCNA or PCCET certification.
• Based in or near Derby with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Implement architected designs across customer environments.
• Lead configuration and deployment of Fortinet solutions.
• Act as technical bridge between design and reality.

Skills

Hands-on Cyber Security experience

Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF/BGP routing

Ability to create high-quality documentation

Education

CCNA or PCCET certification
