Job summary

VIQU IT seeks a DevOps Engineer with active SC clearance to join a London-based hybrid team. You will support secure, high-availability infrastructure in defence or blue-light contexts, focusing on automation, observability, and continuous improvement.

Applicants should have experience with air-gapped environments, on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift, IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD (Jenkins), plus strong logging and monitoring with ELK, Splunk and Grafana. Cloud exposure to Azure or AWS is preferred.

Qualifications

• SC Clearance must be valid and transferable.
• Defence / Military / Nuclear background in a DevOps role.
• Experience working in an air-gapped environment.
• Issue resolution and roadmap-driven enhancements.
• Production environment experience with on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
• IaC using Terraform with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Observability stack: ELK, Splunk, Grafana for logging, metrics and alerts.
• Cloud platforms: Azure or AWS.
