Job summary

VIQU Limited in London is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for an on-premises role with hybrid working. You will help maintain secure, high-availability services underpinning critical business activity.

The role requires SC Clearance, strong Kubernetes/OpenShift expertise, Terraform IaC, and robust incident-management and observability skills across ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk. You will collaborate with solution designers and maintain the tool chain while driving improvements.

Qualifications

• SC Clearance required.
• Hands-on experience with on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
• Experience with DevOps tooling upgrades, issue resolution, and roadmap-driven improvements.
• Linux systems administration in high-availability production environments.
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Automation-first mindset across build, deployment, CI/CD, and release processes.
• Familiar with observability functions using ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Incident-management leadership including major incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Strong understanding of Agile and modern DevOps practices.
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• SC Clearance
• Strong experience with on-prem Kubernetes / OpenShift deployments
• Hands‑on contribution to DevOps tooling upgrades, issue resolution, and roadmap‑driven improvements
• Linux systems administration experience in high‑availability production environments
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Automation‑first mindset across build, deployment, CI/CD, and release processes
• Familiar with observability functions, designing and operating end‑to‑end logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting systems using ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Incident‑management leadership, including major incident response, prioritisation, real‑time coordination, stakeholder communication, and post‑incident reviews
• Thorough understanding of Agile and modern DevOps practices
• Cloud platform experience, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
