Job summary

83zero Limited is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and manage secure cloud infrastructures in a hybrid UK-wide role. You will build IaC pipelines, optimise CI/CD, and implement monitoring and security best practices while collaborating with agile teams.

You'll work across mission-critical environments, leverage Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi, and apply Zero Trust concepts to safeguard cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience in secure or regulated environments.
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• CI/CD tooling with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• AWS networking knowledge (VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers).
• Monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or CloudWatch.
• Cloud security and Zero Trust principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving; Agile delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes.
• Implement effective monitoring, logging and observability.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks through scripting.
• Work with Agile engineering teams, architects and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and continuously improve cloud environments.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including Zero Trust.
• Evaluate and adopt new cloud-native and DevOps technologies.
