Job summary

Montash is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to support a government client by developing CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps toolchains.

You will implement highly available, scalable cloud solutions across AWS using Terraform and Ansible, automate environments, and collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and resolve operational issues. SC clearance required, 6-month contract with extension potential.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services and managing EC2/ECS deployments.
• Strong CI/CD experience and automation mindset.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and environments.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
• Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains with automation at heart.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions across multiple environments.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and evaluate tools.
• Implement and update solutions, provision environments, and support operations.
• Demonstrate experience managing AWS cloud-based applications (EC2, ECS).
• Migrate legacy applications to cloud environments.
