Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment across development, test, staging, and production.

You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations with a focus on security, scalability, and resilience. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to delivery success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and managing AWS infrastructure at scale.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud governance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments across development, test, staging, and production.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure supporting React front-end apps, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
• Support ETL processes and RPA integrations.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink) where required.
• Manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway deployments and access controls.
• Enforce MFA and IAM roles/permissions for dev teams.
• Tag and govern resources per FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and operations.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices and continuous improvement.
