Job summary

VIQU IT in Swindon is seeking an SC Cleared Deployment Engineer to join a busy IT team on a large-scale laptop deployment project in a secure environment. You will build, configure and deploy laptops and ensure Autopilot setup aligns with project standards.

The role requires hands-on hardware and software installation, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a controlled setting. You will communicate clearly with end users and help the team meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
• Experience with laptop deployment and IT support.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot.
• Strong Windows 10/11 build and configuration knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and deploy laptops.
• Configure devices using Windows Autopilot.
• Install required software and applications.
• Reset and reconfigure returned devices for redeployment.
• Troubleshoot deployment and imaging issues.
• Provide desktop IT support as needed.
• Deliver professional, face-to-face end-user support with clear communication.
• Follow up with users after deployments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
