Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an experienced Satellite ISR Systems Engineer to help design, evaluate, and optimise ISR capabilities for satellite missions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop space-based sensing solutions, mission concepts, and data processing architectures that ensure operational performance throughout the mission lifecycle.

You will contribute to system architecture development, perform technical trade-off studies, and produce formal documentation while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• Experience with ISR systems and space missions.
• Experience with sensor data processing and analysis.
• Knowledge of PNT dependencies in sensor systems.
• Familiarity with RF technologies used in aerospace/space.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Structured engineering approach and clear documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate ISR solutions for satellite platforms.
• Support system architecture development and trade studies.
• Define requirements and produce technical documentation.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Analyse sensor performance and data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with operational teams on mission planning.
