Job summary

IC Resources client, a technology business delivering complex communications systems for the space sector, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer. You will own systems or subsystems through development, qualification and operation, with hands-on testing, demonstrations and investigations.

You will work across requirements, architecture and integration, performing verification and validation across the lifecycle, and providing technical guidance to engineers while collaborating with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience with complex communications, electro-optical, electromechanical or embedded software systems.
• Proven ability in requirements, architecture and system verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own allocated systems or subsystems, including specification and verification activities.
• Define system and subsystem requirements and develop architectures, designs and models.
• Plan and carry out verification, qualification and demonstrations, including interoperability activities.
• Support system integration, deployment and operation, including hands-on testing and troubleshooting.
• Identify technical risks, analyse system behaviour and evaluate engineering options.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including interface definitions and system models.
• Coordinate subsystem developments with technical suppliers or subcontractors.
• Contribute to MBSE processes and modelling approaches.
