Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor with engineering/production background and knowledge of procurement of precision machined components. The role involves coordinating import/export activities and a strong emphasis on logistics efficiency.

You will manage material planning, scheduling and procurement in line with BOMs and customer demand, monitor purchase orders through delivery, expedite when needed, and assist accounts with invoice queries.

Qualifications

• Experience in material planning, scheduling and procurement.
• Experience with BOM-based procurement and customer demand.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign.
• Experience supervising teams in a logistics or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material planning, scheduling and procurement.
• Monitor POs to delivery and expedite where needed; reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate all domestic and international logistics and customs queries.
• Support finance and accounts with invoice queries and VAT accounting.
• Maintain accurate records of import/export activities and regulatory compliance.

Job description

Supply Chain Supervisor The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Supervisor will ideally come from an Engineering and Production background and have a working knowledge of procurement precision machined components and coordination of import and export activities.

Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities Responsible for material planning, scheduling and procurement in accordance with bills of materials and customer demand.

Monitor Purchase Orders through to delivery, including regular expediting, reconcile any order discrepancies, and assist accounts with invoice queries.

Coordinate all domestic and international logistics.

Maintain accurate records of import and export activities, deal with any Customs queries and support finance for Postponed VAT Accounting.
