A globally recognised consultancy, known for delivering complex technology transformation projects across both public and private sectors, is seeking an experienced SAP Programme Manager to oversee a wide portfolio of SAP initiatives for a major client.
This SAP Programme Manager opportunity offers a varied and rewarding role for those with a strong passion for leadership, strategic programme governance, and driving large-scale SAP delivery within challenging and high-paced environments. It would suit someone who thrives on complexity, relationship management, and helping clients maximise the value from their SAP investment.
As an SAP Programme Manager, you will:
• Lead the successful delivery of SAP projects and programmes, ensuring governance and oversight across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, from shaping initial commercial proposals to supporting transition into live service.
• Develop strong partnerships with client executives, ensuring alignment of programme outcomes with broader business goals.
• Support commercial growth by identifying new opportunities and working collaboratively to develop compelling proposals.
• Steer the prioritisation of initiatives, proactively managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and client expectations.
• Act as a mentor and role model within the SAP Programme Manager community, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices across delivery teams.
The ideal SAP Programme Manager will have:
• Extensive experience delivering SAP programmes at scale within complex, multi-vendor environments.
• A proven track record of leading SAP projects valued in the multi-million-pound range across varied industries.
• A strong grounding in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, with recognised qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2).
• Outstanding client-facing and negotiation skills, capable of navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience of commercial management, financial reporting, and ensuring alignment to client strategies.
• A clear ability to lead diverse technical and delivery teams, mentoring individuals and building high-performance environments.
• Proven supplier management experience and a strategic mindset in managing third-party partnerships.
