Job summary

Hygrove Partners Ltd. is recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive at the Exeter branch to support the external sales team and manage inbound demand. You will quote, process orders end-to-end in SAP, and nurture relationships with customers while coordinating with operations and transport to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes a hands-on SAP skill set, strong telesales or customer service background, and a proactive, team-driven attitude in a fast-paced metals/distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP experience is essential.
• Prior internal sales, telesales or commercial customer service experience.
• Confident telephone manner and relationship-building ability.
• Accurate, organized handling of a high volume of quotations and orders.
• Team-oriented and collaborative in a shared office environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries by phone and email, preparing accurate quotations and converting them into orders.
• Process orders end to end through SAP, maintaining pricing, stock and delivery information.
• Manage and develop an existing customer base, building long-term relationships and identifying additional sales opportunities.
• Support the external sales team with quotations, follow-ups and account administration.
• Liaise with operations and transport to coordinate stock availability, processing and delivery schedules.
• Resolve customer queries and delivery issues proactively, keeping customers informed.
• Contribute to branch targets and support a collaborative, team-first office culture.
