Job summary

FP Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist - SAP to support the Payroll Operations team during peak periods in a hybrid setup in Downtown Toronto. The role focuses on day-to-day payroll processing support, data validation, and issue resolution.

The successful candidate will handle data using Excel, assist with audits and reporting, and maintain confidentiality of payroll information while escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in payroll processing or payroll operations.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets, formulas, filters and pivot tables.
• Experience with case management systems or handling inquiries.
• Knowledge of Canadian payroll practices or legislation.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile employee data using Excel.
• Prepare trackers and reports to support workload management and reporting.
• Assist with payroll cases, research, and update case notes.
• Monitor assigned cases to meet service level commitments.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and follow up.
• Support payroll audits, data validation, and reconciliations.
• Maintain confidential employee information with discretion.
• Escalate errors or risks to Payroll Operations leadership.
