Are you passionate about optimising business processes and making a real impact?

The role

We are looking for a talented SAP P2P Functional Analyst to join our SAP Centre of Excellence. This role involves process mapping, designing, configuration, requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, end-user training, documentation, and ongoing system maintenance and enhancements for Finance and Controlling processes.

You will collaborate with application teams on various projects, ensuring flexibility, a dynamic approach, and adherence to ITIL best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from setup to delivery.
  • Specify configuration and ABAP solutions for business changes.
  • Analyze business requirements through workshops and documentation.
  • Map requirements to SAP P2P processes and design solutions.
  • Customize and develop SAP systems within the SAP Centre of Excellence.
  • Assist in testing and creating test scripts.
  • Design, test, and implement SAP P2P configurations within a project management framework.
  • Work with external and internal development teams to deliver SAP solutions.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and user experience enhancement.
  • Support SAP user training across UK sites.

What you will bring

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of finance functions, including double entry bookkeeping, P&L, Balance Sheet, and reconciliations.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems, especially SAP P2P, including FI reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining SAP P2P solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori.
  • Preferred: familiarity with BTP workflow module.

The salary is circa £60,000, dependent on skills and experience, plus bonus and benefits.
