Job description

A leading blue chip company is seeking to recruit a Workday Functional Analyst on a 12-month contract via umbrella, fully remote.

Job Purpose:

Drive and manage the efficiency and accuracy of the Workday Payroll Module for the UK. As a member of the Tech Payroll Team, be responsible for analysis, configuration, and maintenance according to policies and Workday procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and customize the Payroll Module to meet the organization's specific payroll requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  2. Analyze payroll-related system configurations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in cooperation with other Workday product owners.
  3. Implement system changes, including testing and validating new payroll features following Workday releases.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday Payroll Module, working closely with the UK payroll team and cross-functional teams.
  5. Maintain detailed documentation of payroll module configurations for future reference.
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and automation within the payroll module to streamline operations.
