Job summary

Computer Futures in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced SAP HR / Payroll Consultant to join a major digital transformation programme across a large SAP landscape, delivering SAP HCM and Payroll solutions and live service support.

The role involves collaboration with onshore and offshore teams, producing detailed documentation and contributing to project planning in a multi-supplier environment, with onsite 2 days per week in Telford.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant with multiple end-to-end deliveries.
• Strong background supporting SAP environments across project and BAU/live support functions.
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP Payroll.
• Experience across PA, OM, Employee & Manager Self-Service, Time Management, Travel Management, SuccessFactors, and Country Legal Changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, enhance and support SAP HCM and Payroll solutions.
• Work within an established HCM and Payroll team in a large SAP practice.
• Investigate, analyse and resolve live service issues across SAP Payroll and HCM modules.
• Deliver project work within a multi-supplier environment with quality and timely execution.
• Produce and maintain documentation including Solution Design Documents, Functional Specifications, WRICEF and technical artefacts.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams and report into the Team Lead.
• Provide accurate delivery estimates and assist with project planning.

SAP HR / Payroll Consultant

Location: Telford (2 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Start date: 05/10/2026
Pay Rate: £460 p/d (Inside IR-35)
Security Clearance: BPSS, SC clearance or eligibility required

Overview

I am currently seeking an experienced SAP HR / Payroll Consultant to join a major digital transformation programme within a large-scale public sector environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a substantial SAP landscape, contributing to both project delivery and live service support for SAP HCM and Payroll solutions.

The successful consultant will play a key role in enhancing existing functionality, resolving complex issues, and delivering high-quality SAP solutions within a collaborative, multi-supplier environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, enhance and support SAP HCM and Payroll solutions.
• Work as part of an established HCM and Payroll team within a large SAP practice.
• Investigate, analyse and resolve live service issues across SAP Payroll and HCM modules.
• Deliver project work within a multi-supplier environment, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including:
• Solution Design Documents
• Functional Specifications
• WRICEF documentation
• Technical and support artefacts
• Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams, reporting into the Team Lead.
• Provide accurate delivery estimates and contribute to project planning activities.
• Engage closely with client stakeholders to provide support, advice and effective solutions.
• Support ongoing digital transformation initiatives and continuous service improvements.
