Job summary

MAG Manchester Airports Group is seeking a SAP Group Reporting Analyst to join the Finance Transformation Programme as we migrate from SAP ECC to S/4HANA Private Cloud. This hybrid Manchester-based role sits within the Technology team and acts as the internal SME for SAP Group Reporting.

You will partner with Finance, Solution Architects and implementation partners to shape and deliver a modern, scalable finance landscape.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Strong understanding of consolidation processes, including eliminations, currency translation and group reporting structures.
• Experience with at least two full SAP implementations from discovery to go-live.
• Knowledge of Universal Journal and consolidation data flows in S/4HANA.
• Experience supporting period-end and year-end close in SAP.
• Strong business and systems analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the business-owned lead for the SAP Group Reporting workstream throughout the Finance Transformation Programme.
• Participating in fit-to-standard workshops and ensuring solutions reflect MAG's business and reporting requirements.
• Reviewing and challenging SI designs and configurations.
• Defining functional/technical requirements with architects and partners.
• Supporting design and optimisation of consolidation processes, reporting structures and controls.
• Leading UAT and developing test scenarios.
• Supporting data readiness including opening balances and intercompany validation.
• Developing end-user training and enabling business adoption.
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes via SAP tech.
• Supporting go-live, hypercare and stabilisation.
