Job summary

Findel Education is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a maternity cover on a fixed-term contract. You will design, develop and support SAP ABAP solutions across multiple business areas, collaborating with Technology and the wider business to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes integrations, SD processes, and innovative projects including AI-driven document capture. You will work with stakeholders at all levels, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Significant experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of OO ABAP, enhancements and interfaces.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, web services, IDocs and EDI.
• Understanding of SAP SD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Team-focused attitude and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support SAP ABAP solutions across multiple business areas.
• Maintain and enhance integrations between SAP and other systems.
• Support customer order and sales processes through SAP development and automation.
• Work on innovative AI-driven document capture and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Infrastructure and business stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
• Support testing, documentation and continuous improvement activities.
