Searcys are looking for a Sandwich Chef to be an integral part of ensuring the smooth running of the new café opening at Church House.

We’re seeking a Sandwich Chef who shares our passion for great food, outstanding customer service, and thrives in a busy kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail to work on our handcrafted sandwiches and freshly baked pastries, both sweet and savory.

Located in Westminster, Church House is a Grade II listed, multi-purpose event venue spanning three floors, home to 19 meeting and conference spaces. Part of The Corporation of Church House charity, established in 1888, the venue boasts a rich heritage with notable links to royalty and parliament.

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £18.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, quiches, and desserts
• Lead and develop junior kitchen team members
• Provide detailed handovers with mis-en-place at shift end
• Manage your section with pride and diligence
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations
• Train team members on menu, equipment, and procedures
• Production experience (desirable)
• Maintain high standards and attention to detail
• Work effectively under pressure
• Organize and prioritize workload efficiently
