Job summary

ALS in Knowsley is seeking a Sample Processing Administrator to coordinate receipt, logging and storage of samples. You will work with Inspection and Assay teams to support efficient workflows and dispatch samples both in the UK and abroad.

The role requires at least 2 years in inventory or data entry and a strong focus on accuracy, with familiarity in Management Information Systems. A structured, team‑oriented environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in inventory management or data entry.
• Proficient in Management Information Systems and data accuracy.
• Organised and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, logging and safe storage of incoming samples.
• Liaise with Inspection and Assay teams to maintain workflows.
• Oversee timely dispatch of samples domestically and internationally.
• Maintain meticulous records of all sample movements, storage and processing.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve queries, including Customs.
