Eurofins is seeking a Sample Collector / Phlebotomist in Canterbury to join our Sample Collections team on an AD HOC basis. Ideal candidates must be qualified Phlebotomists with experience in venepuncture techniques, capable of collecting samples in non-clinical settings.
The role includes attending appointments primarily within a 2-hour radius and demands excellent communication skills. Compensation is £48.67 per collection, plus travel expenses. Successful applicants will also undergo enhanced DBS checks as part of the process.
We have a vacancy for a Sample Collector / Phlebotomist to join our Sample Collections team in Canterbury and surrounding areas, on an AD HOC/casual basis. Candidates must be professionally qualified Phlebotomists, have recent experience in various venepuncture techniques (predominately vacutainer and butterfly) and be able to collect samples in non-clinical settings.
Collection payment: £48.67 per collection. Contract Type: Zero hours – as and when required (AD-HOC). Most collection appointments are planned within normal business hours.
Initial training will be carried out at Lextox office, but the role will ultimately be home based. Successful applicants will be paid on a per collection basis only, plus appropriate travel expenses will be paid, including fuel, parking fees and sample postage.
Collections assignments will generally be primarily at either a solicitor’s office, local authority office or donor’s home; appropriate PPE will be provided for use as required.
For this position, the role will involve the taking of blood samples, where Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
