Job summary

Eurofins Forensic Services (Lextox) is seeking a Sample Collector/Phlebotomist to join our Carmarthen team on an AD HOC basis. You will travel to pre-booked appointments within a two-hour radius to collect samples in non-clinical settings.

The role is zero hours and paid per collection, with travel expenses covered. You must be a qualified phlebotomist with at least two years’ post-qualification experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle, and be prepared for enhanced DBS

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Phlebotomy since qualification.
• Must hold Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Role is subject to regular enhanced DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre booked appointments within ~2 hours of home.
• Provide hair, nail, blood and DNA sample collection services.
• Maintain and develop excellent relationships with clients and donors.
• Follow ISO17025 quality management system requirements.
• Ensure all collections follow safe operating procedures.
• Provide statements to support legal proceedings at collection.
