Simply Jobsworth is seeking a proactive Sameday / Solutions Executive to manage urgent deliveries and develop new business while building strong customer relationships in the Birmingham area.

You will handle customer enquiries, provide quotes, organise deliveries and find optimal transport solutions, liaising with drivers and transport partners to meet client needs.

The role focuses on hitting targets for new business revenue and maintaining high service levels.

Sameday / Solutions Executive

The Role

We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused Sameday / Solutions Executive to manage urgent deliveries, develop new business and build strong customer relationships.

You will handle customer enquiries, provide quotes, organise deliveries and find the best transport solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to sameday delivery enquiries and provide quotes.
• Arrange and manage bookings from collection to delivery.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and transport partners.
• Find tailored logistics solutions to meet customer needs.
• Generate new business through cold calling and lead generation.
• Arrange customer meetings by Teams or in person.
• Prepare quotes, proposals and pricing.

Targets and KPIs

• Make at least 25 cold calls per week.
• Hold at least 5 customer meetings per month.
• Win at least 1 new customer per month.
• Generate £7,500 in new business revenue per month.
• Achieve an average profit margin of 30%.
