Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a proactive Speech and Language Therapist to join our agency network supporting SEND schools across the South East and East of England. You will work with children and young people to develop communication skills within specialist educational contexts.

The role offers flexible, rewarding engagement across multiple schools, with collaboration from our recruitment team to ensure supportive, professional development and meaningful outcomes for students.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (desirable).
  • Experience working with children and young people, ideally within SEND settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to schools across the South East and East regions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy interventions.
  • Support pupils with a range of communication, language, and speech needs.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Develop individual therapy programmes and targets.
  • Monitor progress and produce reports where required.
  • Provide advice and training to school staff to support communication-friendly environments.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist looking for flexible and rewarding work within specialist educational settings?

We are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists to join our agency and support a network of SEND schools across the South East and East of England.

About the Role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work closely with children and young people with a range of communication needs, helping them to develop the skills required to thrive both academically and socially.

You will have the opportunity to work within supportive SEND school environments, collaborating with teachers, support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality interventions and positive outcomes.
