Job summary

ghd is seeking a commercially driven, field-based Business Development Manager to unlock growth across salon channels in Wales and the South West. You will expand our salon footprint, drive revenue growth, and elevate brand presence through partnerships, education, and retail excellence.

This high-impact role targets achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while building lasting relationships with salon owners, stylists, and educators.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in field sales, business development, or regional management.
• Experience in the spa, hair, beauty, or wellness sector is desirable.
• Proven success in winning new business partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in the field.
• Full clean UK driving license.
• Proficient with CRM systems and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets, profitability goals, and KPIs across your territory.
• Lead monthly business reviews with salon accounts using performance data to drive improvements.
• Maximise time management and minimise costs through strategic journey planning.
• Drive sell-in and sell-out performance across styling tools, products, and services.
• Collaborate with education and marketing teams to activate campaigns and boost retail conversion.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new salon partnerships aligned with brand standards.
• Present compelling commercial proposals and product demonstrations.
• Execute territory growth plans based on market insights and brand strategy.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing salon accounts and provide coaching to elevate performance.
• Represent the brand at trade shows, regional events, and salon activations.
• Track KPIs including revenue, new account acquisition, and average order value; keep CRM updated.
