Job summary

belk is seeking a Salon Retail Coordinator to manage the front desk operations and guest experience within the salon environment. This role reports to the Salon Manager and is nonexempt.

You will greet clients, handle appointments, and ensure a smooth reception workflow while driving retail and service sales. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, communication, and multitasking, with a professional appearance and the ability to handle issues gracefully.

Qualifications

• Proficient in computer-based business software.
• GED or High School diploma required.
• Customer Service or Cosmetic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Suggest retail products to clients and upsell/additional services.
• Cross-sell services to other salon areas.
• Handle refunds and re-dos professionally.
• Address complaints promptly with good communication.
• Schedule management including bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Maintain clean, professional reception and adhere to dress code.
