Job summary

Bupa is seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Engineering (QE) Lead to define and mature QA practices across its Salesforce ecosystem. The role focuses on automation-first testing strategies, quality controls, and enabling secure, scalable Salesforce solutions.

You will mentor QE engineers and lead across multiple Salesforce clouds. Based in Brighton with hybrid work options, the role emphasizes testing complex configurations, APIs, and data migrations while driving release risk mitigation

Job Description: Salesforce Quality Engineering (QE) Lead Permanent Brighton Hybrid: up to 3 days WFH Salary from: £58K DOE + 10% bonus + fantastic benefits 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Engineering (QE) Lead to define, drive, and mature quality engineering practices across Bupa's Salesforce ecosystem. This role is responsible for establishing automation-first testing strategies, ensuring appropriate quality controls across the delivery lifecycle, and enabling the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and business-critical Salesforce solutions.

How you’ll help us make health happen

Lead testing and Quality Engineering across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and custom Salesforce applications Provide quality assurance across Salesforce configuration changes, LWC, Apex, flows, workflows, triggers and integrations Validate complex end-to-end Salesforce business processes across multiple systems and services Test REST/SOAP APIs and integrations between Salesforce and downstream/upstream enterprise platforms Validate Salesforce data, business rules, permissions, profiles, roles and security configurations Support quality assurance for Salesforce data migrations and transformation activities. Ensure appropriate regression coverage is maintained as the Salesforce platform evolves. Identify quality and release risks early and work collaboratively with engineering teams to resolve them Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks Provide technical leadership to Quality Engineers working across Salesforce. Mentor and coach engineers in Salesforce testing, automation and Quality Engineering practices

What you’ll bring

Salesforce Expertise Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms within complex enterprise environments. Experience testing one or more of: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities. Experience validating: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Validation Rules, Integrations & security model. Experience testing Salesforce releases, deployments, and environment management processes Experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation, including significant experience working with Salesforce platforms.
