Astound Digital in London seeks a Salesforce Core Leader to drive technical excellence across Service Cloud implementations. You will lead development teams, partner with enterprise clients, and deliver high-impact solutions aligned with GTM strategy.

You will spearhead presales, guide architecture decisions, mentor teams, and stay ahead of Salesforce innovations to elevate project outcomes. Local candidates preferred for this role.

• 10+ years of technical implementation experience with Salesforce Core (Service Cloud)
• 5+ years Apex programming and 3+ years Lightning Web Components / Aura
• 2+ years leading technical development teams through full Salesforce SDLC

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Salesforce project development teams.
• Lead presales: respond to RFPs, build estimates, demos, and client presentations.
• Lead client discussions to showcase Salesforce capabilities and GTM accelerators.
• Provide expert consultation on Salesforce best practices, architecture, and process improvements.
• Manage client escalations with ownership for rapid resolution.

Job Purpose

As the Salesforce Core Leader based in London, you will drive technical excellence, solution delivery, and commercial growth across our Salesforce practice. In this role, you will lead development teams, partner closely with enterprise clients on complex Service Cloud and Salesforce Core implementations, and spearhead technical presales initiatives including RFPs and estimations. You will bridge deep technical mastery with GTM strategy by developing innovative solution accelerators and delivering high-impact client presentations. Serving as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, you will champion platform best practices and shape the future of digital commerce solutioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Salesforce project development teams, ensuring clear alignment with client needs, development processes, and overall project success.
• Spearhead presales activities, including responding to RFPs/pursuits, constructing effort estimates, building demos, and delivering client presentations.
• Lead client discussions to showcase Astound Digital's Salesforce capabilities, tailoring offerings and proactively developing solution accelerators to support GTM initiatives.
• Provide expert consultation to clients and internal teams on Salesforce best practices, architectural design, and process improvement opportunities.
• Manage client escalations professionally and efficiently, taking complete ownership to drive rapid issue resolution.
• Stay updated on market trends and emerging Salesforce features, continuously applying platform innovations to elevate project outcomes.
• Deliver thought leadership on Salesforce methodologies, tools, and best practices to foster continuous delivery improvement across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

• 10+ years of overall technical implementation experience, including a minimum of 4 years serving as an SME or Leader for Salesforce Core (specifically Service Cloud).
• 5+ years of hands‑on Apex programming (triggers, controllers, classes) and 3+ years with Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Lightning Aura Components.
• 2+ years of proven team leadership experience managing technical development teams through full Salesforce SDLC lifecycles.
• Demonstrated capability in estimating RFP pursuits, building solution models, and documenting core assumptions.
• Hands‑on proficiency with standard Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, Streaming), Salesforce data tools, and Lightning Framework.
• Solid understanding of software architecture design using object‑oriented principles, modularity, design patterns, and complex application logic.
• Excellent technical documentation skills, foundational knowledge of project management, and a strong understanding of end-to-end Salesforce delivery processes.
