Job summary

Square One Resources is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join a Salesforce consulting partner, supporting client implementation and transformation projects within the financial services sector.

The successful candidate will have strong experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, working with clients to understand business requirements, define solutions and support delivery from discovery through to implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst within a consultancy or delivery environment.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Mandatory financial services experience (banking, insurance, wealth management or similar).

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents business requirements with stakeholders.
• Leads discovery workshops and translates needs into user stories, specs and acceptance criteria.
• Supports Sales Cloud/Service Cloud implementations, enhancements and CRM transformations.
• Maps business processes, identifies gaps and recommends Salesforce-based solutions.
• Collaborates with Salesforce consultants, architects, developers and QA throughout the lifecycle.
• Supports UAT, defect management, requirements validation and client sign-off.
• Ensures solutions align with client objectives and financial services requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with client stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Support Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations, enhancements and CRM transformation projects.
• Map business processes, identify gaps and recommend Salesforce-based solutions.
• Collaborate with Salesforce consultants, architects, developers and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support UAT, defect management, requirements validation and client sign-off.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure solutions align with client objectives and financial services requirements.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst within a Salesforce consultancy, implementation partner or Salesforce delivery environment.
• Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Mandatory financial services experience, ideally within banking, insurance, wealth management or a similar regulated industry.
• Experience delivering Salesforce implementation or transformation projects for clients.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile project environments and supporting UAT.
• Excellent client-facing communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote UK-based team.
• Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator or Consultant certification.
• Experience across multiple client engagements and Salesforce delivery projects.
• Knowledge of financial services processes, data governance and regulatory requirements.
