Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company in York is hiring an Outlet Sales Associate for a part-time role. You will join our European Retail team and provide the best in-store experience, advising customers, understanding needs and proposing solutions.

You will help with visual merchandising, stock deliveries, and maintaining store appearance, while demonstrating passion for outdoor gear and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• First experience in a customer services and/or sales-oriented position.
• You are passionate about Customer service and love to interact with people.
• Good knowledge of country's official language. Knowledge of English is a plus.
• You enjoy working in a team and bring interpersonal skills
• At ease with numbers (you are able to perform basic math calculation)
• Willing to join a high performing team willing to undertake challenges.
• You are an outdoor enthusiastic and love to share your passion!
• Available to work on flexible schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays

• Be a proud ambassador of Columbia by providing information to all customers on current product features and benefits.

• Ensure that all our products are well displayed in accordance with the Company's VM guidelines.
• Assist with stock management and product deliveries.
• Maintain an excellent appearance of store facilities.
• Demonstrate a desire to learn and seizes all available opportunities to drive own development and increase performance.
• Maintain a positive working environment and communication with all level of management and staff.
• Ensure company's policies & procedures are followed and suggest improvements.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We're looking for a talented Sales Associate to join our Columbia Retail team in ... (York), ... (UK).

You will join a diverse and dynamic European Retail team spread across 7 countries.

As a Sales Associate, your contribution will be essential to provide the best in-store experience to our customers. As an ambassador of the brand, your mission will be to understand customers' needs, advise them on products and proposing solutions. In addition, you will help with visual merchandising in order to drive sales engagement.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

• A first experience in a customer services and/or sales-oriented position. A 1st experience in Retail would be a plus.
• You are passionate about Customer service and love to interact with people.
• Good knowledge of country's official language. Knowledge of English is a plus.
• You enjoy working in a team and bring interpersonal skills
• At ease with numbers (you are able to perform basic math calculation)
