Job summary

Mindstep, part of Onebright Group, is seeking a Sales Specialist to expand our reach for mental health services with employers, insurers and partners. You will lead new business growth and present Mindstep and Onebright's market-leading wellbeing solutions to decision-makers.

You will build a robust pipeline, engage with HR and benefits professionals, and collaborate with sales, clinical and implementation teams to ensure a smooth client experience from sale through mobilisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales, digital health, health tech, or SaaS.
  • Proven ability to sell consultative, service-led or tech-enabled solutions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations and tailored follow-ups.
  • Proficient with CRM usage, maintaining pipeline, and forecast data.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritise new opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers and guide prospects through the sales journey.
  • Develop and grow a pipeline across employers, insurers, EAPs, occupational health providers and other channels.
  • Generate new business via proactive outreach, networking, referrals, events, inbound enquiries and partnerships.
  • Deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations and proposals to senior stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate value propositions, including early access to support and evidence-based care pathways.

Job description

Mindstep is the front door for mental healthcare and neurodiversity services. We develop and build platforms that make mental healthcare more personal, preventative, and powerful. Our innovative digital screenings, adaptive self-care content, and care navigation tools increase access to clinically validated support and care, empowering every person with better health to face life's challenges.

As part of the Onebright Group, Mindstep's digital platforms integrate alongside Onebright Group's clinical assessment, psychological therapy, psychiatry and neurodevelopmental services. Together, we offer an end-to-end continuum of care; the UK's first digitally led and fully integrated wellbeing, mental healthcare and neurodevelopmental service.

Role information

This is a full-time role offered with a base salary of £27,500-32,000 per annum. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a requirement for in-office 1-2 days per week in our London or York office. Please note, all applicants must be legally entitled to accept and perform work in the UK and we will seek to complete a Right To Work check for all candidates.

What the job involves

We're looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Specialist to help expand our reach across employers, insurers, employee benefits providers, occupational health organisations and strategic partners.You'll play a key role in driving new business growth and introducing organisations to Mindstep and Onebright's market-leading mental health and wellbeing services. You will:

  • Identify and prioritise new opportunities, develop relationships with decision-makers, and guide prospects through the sales journey .
  • Develop and grow a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across employers, insurers, EAPs, occupational health providers and other key channels.
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, events, inbound enquiries and channel partnerships.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
  • Clearly communicate our value proposition, including earlier access to support, clinically appropriate triage and evidence-based care pathways.
  • Create compelling business cases that demonstrate clinical value, employee experience and commercial return.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, clinical, operational and implementation teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sale through to mobilisation.
Who you are
Core requirements
  • Previous B2B sales, business development - ideally in digital health, health tech, workplace wellbeing, employee benefits, insurance, healthcare services or SaaS.
  • Experience selling a consultative, service-led or technology-enabled solution with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence preparing presentations, proposals and tailored follow-up communications.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and maintaining reliable pipeline, structured sales processes activity and forecast data.
  • Experience using HubSpot,LinkedIn Sales Navigator or sales-engagement tools.
  • Experience engaging HR, Reward, Benefits, Wellbeing, Occupational Health or insurance contacts.
  • Organised, proactive, resilient and attention to detail.
  • A genuine interest in mental health, wellbeing and improving access to high-quality support.
  • Familiarity in mental health, digital mental health solutions, and psychological therapies.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, specifically around "software as a medical device" or regulated clinical services and an understanding of the regulatory considerations that come with it.
