Job summary

schuh is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant for our Rushmere store. You will provide excellent customer service, share in-depth product knowledge and help customers with purchases while maintaining stock and merchandising standards.

The role supports opening and closing procedures and requires flexibility for weekends and evenings. Previous retail experience is welcome but not essential, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet KPIs and targets.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our store in Rushmere!

This position will be part-time and you must be fully flexible across weekends and evenings.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures

Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
